Focus areas

Noah advises on corporate law and sustainability compliance with a particular focus on steward ownership and cooperatives. He supports clients throughout the entire corporate life cycle – from the formation of start-ups through growth and financing rounds to business succession. Another key area of his work is sustainable finance.

Alongside his work as a lawyer, he is the head of legal for the Stiftung Verantwortungseigentum (German Foundation for Steward Ownership), where he works on the development of a new legal form for steward-owned enterprises in Germany and beyond. On this topic, he co-authored model legislation commissioned by parliamentarians. He contributes to the professional debate on innovative corporate law in Germany and internationally.

Background

Before co-founding blue marble legal, Noah worked as a lawyer at lindenpartners in the area of corporate law and sustainability compliance, where he helped develop  a digital tool for CSRD compliance. Previously, he was a research fellow at Stanford University and a research associate at Noerr LLP in the field of venture capital.

 

Noah studied at Bucerius Law School (Hamburg) and Sciences Po (Paris). He received his PhD from Freie Universität Berlin and Stanford Law School, with a thesis on steward-ownership and cooperatives.
